Willy Tan is the Financial Services Director of Prudential Assurance Company Singapore. Since 2004, he led his team of Financial Consultants eminently and achieved many significant milestones and accolades, Since 2017, he co-founded technology company, Mirage Labs. Through his positions as NUS Research Fellow, Prudential Director, ex Chief Strategist at Logicmills and the co-founder ofMirage Labs, Willy has extensive experience and knowledge on strategy, economic development, public policy, technology innovation and productivity across industries such as public administration, financial services, education and digital transformation, He has deep expertise working at the intersection of business and public policy, in areas such as improving competitiveness expanding connectivity and helping small medium Enterprises in total risk management and internationalisation- In recent years, he has been deeply involved in bringing industry 4.0 to help transform manufacturing across different sectors via Mirage Labs. He often speaks of the impact of industry 4.0 on national economies and future workplace. As the Chairman of SGIOO Foundation, Willy is a strong believer
in giving back especially in the education sector and was conferred (National university of Singapore his alma mater) Dean’s circle Lifetime Ambassador in 2017: a recognition of his major cash gifts to sponsor Faculty scholarships. He also sits on the board of Dunman High School a TOP tier integrated Program high school. Willy holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) and a Masters in Industrial Systems Engineering both from National University of Singapore. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant and Certified Financial Planner. He is also a Harvard Business School alumnus having completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business
School Boston campus.
